I agree with matt.

I have a homosexual family member and I still love them. Nothing is going to change that. Do I think homosexuality is wrong? Yeah, I do.
But the question of homosexuality is a question of sin and when it comes to sin, we are all experts.
I am no better than my homosexual family member.

One of the most lacking ministries ever is one to the homosexuals. That should make the Church ashamed because of its fear and lack of compassion for homosexuals.

I'm a licensed minister, and the war going on regarding this issue saddens my heart. If someone were to ask me my side, my first response would be to say that it saddens me because I couldn't say ANYTHING without hurting SOMEBODY.

I do have some food for thought, though, primarily for the Christian community: Before joining this bandwagon, do you have friends who are homosexual? Do you know a homosexual personally? Have you had a homosexual over for dinner, or invited them to a gathering of some sort? I want to encourage you, please, to practice compassion first for homosexuals first. If not, please do. See homosexuals as human beings, and let it bring you to tears when someone mistreats them. It's okay to stick to your guns regarding how God designed our sexuality. But that doesn't mean that you can't be loving and civil to all people, no matter who they are. A fundemental belief for us as Christians is that WE are ALL messed up in this cursed world. Yet, Jesus still took us in. The church is pretty good at accepting ex-cons and divorcees, but homosexuals seem to be the exception. We are ALL in need of grace, and continue to be a work in progress. Truly love a person and they may be more apt to listen to what you have to say.

We need to treat Homosexuality as it realy is,
a mental illness. Homosexuality is no different than
any other MENTAL illness, they are people who need
treatment.
