Christians Invade Air Force

Posted By gasmonso On November 14, 2005 @ 12:28 am In Christianity | 5 Comments

If you attend the Airforce Academy, you might get more than you bargained for. The Washington Post is reporting [1] that two privately funded Christian ministers have been assigned to the Academy where they are training cadets to evangelize among their peers. What makes this interesting is that for some reason, the Christians have preferential treatment. According to the article,

…some other religious groups are allowed onto the academy’s campus, but only during certain hours and under close supervision by Air Force chaplains.

This smells like weirdo cult stuff to me. Why is it that religions and their minions want to sink their claws into you? Is there some kind of prize that you get for every mind you add to the Borg Collective [2]… awesome, only 5 more minds and I get the Jesus blowup doll!!. If I can give the cadets any advice it would be to not drink the Kool-Aid [3] at the mess-hall.
