I am eleven years old, and I came across this site when I was looking up things for church. I don’t mean to be rude, but why do all of you hate Christians so much? I mean every athiest I’ve ever meet says that WE are very religious and push our views on people, but then you athiest people are very agressive when you want us to believe that God isn’t real. And I’m not going to pretend that there aren’t any Christians who are religious. Just I think it’s kinda weird that there are tons of sites that say ‘Stupid Ass Christians’ or ‘Christian are Stupid’, but barely any sites that say ‘Athiest Sucks’ or ‘F-Athiest’ or whatever. I know this isn’t going to change any of your opions, just I had to put my two cents in.

In many ways, I wish Christians were right. At least then I’d have a chance at a happy afterlife. But that is the whole “trap” of religion, I think. It builds around human needs and “feeds” them, real or not. The only question is if it will really satisfy your hunger, or just give you a taste of a meal you’ll never be allowed to finish.

I think this relates to my last post, since a loving, all-powerful God would never let his creations starve in the first place.

Take your pick:

a) No being in their right mind would.
b) An evil / careless / loveless / tired god would.
c) A “god” who actually lacks such powers.
d) A “god” who has DIED.
e) A make-believe god, like your make-believe friend!
f) A God who needs to allow it for “A GREATER PURPOSE” that we simpletons couldn’t possibly understand.

Personally, I think I’m the least inclined to pick “f”, though my family apparently does.
