See the fun loving side of Christianity in this moving and emotional Oscar performance from Jimmy. During a sermon in September of 2004, Swaggart expresses his love for homosexuals when he said:
I’m trying to find the correct name for it … this utter absolute, asinine, idiotic stupidity of men marrying men. … I’ve never seen a man in my life I wanted to marry. And I’m gonna be blunt and plain; if one ever looks at me like that, I’m gonna kill him and tell God he died.
I honestly want to believe he is a closet homosexual, but that would be disrespectful to the gay community. In the end, he’s just another psychotic Holy Roller. Kick back and enjoy the show.

Yes, he’d kill a homosexual and then lie about it to god. I wonder what he’d do to those that solicit and fornicate with prostitutes?
Funny how Christians can commit crimes in their own god’s eyes all the time, but condemn others for the same.

“a-bomb-nation”?
What an illiterate wanker…
November 19th, 2005 at 11:34 pm
Jimmy Swaggart is not gay. Gay men do not ask twenty-dollar whores for sex or rent motel rooms to have sex with whores like Jimmy Swaggart does. Funny that ole Jimmy forgot that what he does with those whores is an “a-bomb-nation” to God. So is gluttony, but that fat-lady on the front row of his church might argue with you about that also.

i mean he can have his oppinions him self but like that in front of every one is pritty lame.
he can go fuck my couch
February 13th, 2007 at 1:43 pm
Hey, would you really subject your poor couch to that kind of humiliation? What did it ever do to you?
In all seriousness, of course this guy is a caricature. He is a poster child for corrupt evil religious zealots that profess to believes something and absolutely does not. He is no more a christian than I am, he is a charlatan, a swindler and a crook. The man is evil to the core and makes millions from it. If there were a christian hell (which of course there isn’t) this joker would be near the front of the line with an express ticket for entry.

I have to agree with this place. Swaggart is an asshole. I saw the video where he claimed he had sinned, and begged for forgiveness. Never laughed so hard so hard in my life. Can we say “MOTHER FUCKING HYPOCRIT”!?
FUCK YOU, SWAGGART. I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU, ONCE YOU GO UP FOR JUDGEMENT
March 1st, 2007 at 10:24 pm
Swaggart, like all Muslims, Jews and Christians is a hyprocite full of self-righteous bullshit. I am so sick of hearing about the bible, the koran, the torah and all of the crap and harm that they do. If there is a hell, it is all of them who are going there.

I spit on god but Jimmy sure can play the piano. County tinged blues licks. Tasty.

A-Bomb-Nation, dammit!

We are all human beings and we all make mistakes so before you cast that first stone, be sure theres no skeletins hiding in your closet. We are no better than they are.
March 19th, 2007 at 4:51 pm
For God so loved the world that He gave JESUS CHRIST His only begotten Son to die and WHOSOEVER believes will not perish but have eternal life. Jn.3:16 But he that believe not is condemned already. vs:18
No man will have excuse on the day of judgement, think twice and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour rather than condemning your fellow man. If we repent of our sins, faithful is God to forgive and cleanse us from all iniquity.
March 19th, 2007 at 6:01 pm
Wow, Ebenezer, I’ve NEVER heard THAT before. This ‘Jn.3:16′ is so totally new and exciting that I am converting right now! Never before have I encountered such careful reasoning and logic. I mean is SAYS SO right there in ‘Jn.3:16′…
But…
wait…
Why should I even care what ‘Jn.3:26′ says?

Wow!! anger gives birth to more anger. raving about the raver. Its all the same in the end. Who is going to be the first to stop?
March 20th, 2007 at 9:14 am
Hello ben,
Your post seems misplaced. Ebenezer’s post didn’t seem to contain any anger. While mine can certainly be interpreted as angry, I can assure you it was not. My post contained disgust and exasperation, but not anger.
I am exasperated and disgusted that the ‘reasoning’ that Ebenezer tried to use to persuade us passes as acceptable in US society. It is not valid reasoning. Hell, it isn’t even reasoning.
March 22nd, 2007 at 11:38 pm
Sidfaiwu, I have to agree with you. This exasperation and disgust you feel is justified. This country has lost all ability to reason, and have individual thoughts. We now reject originality behind the guise of corporate media. Censorship is out of control, our public schools are under siege by those that would push their beliefs upon others by simply relabeling religion as science and, churches (that have no legal standing to do so with out losing their tax exempt status) are influencing every facet of politics at every conceivable level, all because John 3:16 passes for logical thought in this country. You have every right to be angry, I know I border on it everyday that I hear another one of my liberties and freedom from religion is under attack by people who think that because the bible said so, I should be subject to those same beliefs. I am waiting for the day Faux news proudly heralds the beginning of the American Inquisition.
March 23rd, 2007 at 7:29 am
In case you are interested, one of your liberties is not freedom ” from” religion. It is freedom ” of” religion. That in it’s self is an example of how things get distorted.
Yes, you have every right to not believe the Bible. That in no way does make you free from the consequences of your life’s actions, if in the end it is a valid instruction book.
Jimmy means well, I believe, but his words are spoken with emotion , as he is an emotional person. And he is subject to sin , as we all are. But to be able to call sin sin , it takes guts and it can make people mad. I am glad when he is able to call sin sin, but I think when he speaks with emotion, he should weigh his words more carefully. You should take notice he made sure to say that the homosexual is not who he is bashing. I think he cares for people and he hates sin ( not the sinner). He believes sin has consequences, as he himself is constantly finding out because he is human. Yes , he knows he needs constant forgiveness too, but that doesn’t stop him from calling sin sin.

Hello Bob,
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”
That is ALL the US constitution has to say on the subject of religion. You are only focusing on the second clause, the “Free Exercise Clause”. I’m a much bigger fan of the “Establishment Clause”, which DOES guarantee freedom from government-sponsored religion.
The positioning of the Establishment Clause is significant. It is the first clause of the First Amendment to the US Constitution. It kicks off the Bill of Rights, which defines each citizen’s individual rights. Let’s see that beauty again:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion”
The whole “it’s not freedom from religion, it’s of religion” is total bunk. The phrase “freedom of religion” is shorthand for the first two clauses of the Bill of Rights and appears nowhere in the Constitution. There is nothing significant about the use of the preposition “of”. You using as though it were some deep philosophy embedded in our laws and not a footnote version of the actual piece of the 1st Amendment is an example of how things get distorted.

Well, i think we should not make man the standard of faith. Jesus Christ is. He said: “I am the way, the truth and the Life and no man can come to the Father except through me.” That’s it!! All this babbling about Jimmy is not taking us anywhere. No man except Jesus died on the cross, period!!!
Dr Joe
March 29th, 2007 at 5:04 am
Joe : “No man except Jesus died on the cross, period!!!”
Are you sure of that ? Crucifixion was a common way of executing condemned persons by the time, so thousands of men died on the cross. Jesus himself is believed to have died with two criminals, according to the bible.
From a french perspective (I’m French), I have to say that this video is quite pathetic. First of all, we do not have people preaching like religion was some sort of TV show, and I think it’s a good thing. I’m not religious but if you have to be, at least do it seriously. About what this man says, it is simply forbidden here, he would have a lawsuit on his ass in the hour, for good. And we aren’t huge fans of trials like you are, it’s an extreme way of acting for us.

Fuck Jimmy Swaggart and all you other faggot hypocritical religious crooks! Rot in Hell!

Jimmy Joe Billy Bob Swaggart sho did enjoy his oral sex with his cheap $20 a day sluttress. Please note the many other skunky assed so-called Christians who have sex on the down-low: Ex-mayor of Charlotte Sue Myrick, who cheated with another womans husband, broke up their marriage and married her whoremonger; Newt Gingrich and his 3 wives (he cheated on the first 2); Bob Barr (GOP) and his 3 wives; there’s a sorry assed GOP manager in the billboard industry @ Clear Channel/Georgia who cheats on his wife regular and claims to be a good little Christian boy; Strom Thurmond the racist who cheated on his wife with a black woman and had a baby with her and denied that child until his death; the list goes on and on… by the way, does Ann Coulter still have a penis?

“If one of them looked at me like that I’d kill him and tell god he died”
Don’t flatter yourself, Jimmy, nobody is going to be looking at you “like that”.
April 21st, 2008 at 11:55 pm
About Jimmy Swaggart,
Well I totally agree about the message of the Cross! And by that I mean overcoming sin through believing that sins are gone if you confess your sins. Repent for those of you who don’t know. And just letting grace remove the sins. And not living or trying to stop your sin!Like saying God I promise I’ll never do it again which is self. Which means grace is gone and can’t remove sins!
Anyway about the whole Gay thing. I totally 100% disagree on what he said. I have family members that are gay and they are the most gracious, loving, give you the shirt off your back people. Just because someone is Gay doesn’t mean he or she is “EVIL”!!!
April 22nd, 2008 at 5:59 am
Melissa, you’re contradicting yourself.
Either you accept the whole bible, including the fact that gays are evil, eating shrimp is reason to be stoned to death and the whole list of cruelty.
Or you admit that you’re a huge hyppocrite and you’re just picking and choosing your values based on secular standards.
August 7th, 2008 at 6:39 am
we are all sinners and if Jesus dont die on the cross
we would all burn in hell.I agree with Barry those without sin can throw the first stone.the day is coming we will all see.

Jimmy is one of the best actors I have seen. He is also a very good salesman. He is a good singer and piano player. He also uses the defence mechanisms. Reaction Formation, Projection, and a lot of Rationalization. He is very close to being a Sociopath. He is a con man and a good one. He was reared in the South with the Red Necks but hides that a bit. He does have a pugnacious attitude and look about him. He feels Omnipotent. I like watching him, but I don’t believe a word he says! I feel sorry for those who do! Send him some money and then tell him later you need it back for an emergency and see what happens! In a nutshell, he is in it for the money and recognition. Beware of the Wolf in Sheep’s clothing.
November 25th, 2008 at 6:31 am
This is so like these television evan… they judge everyone and everything but look behind the scenes, I don’t trust any of them
November 27th, 2008 at 8:24 am
This man is preaching judgment and hatred. These people like Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Baker, Oral Roberts and others need to be stopped.
All he is trying to do is take heat off of himself and pass the heat onto others.
He’s ignorant, like his crowds. What’s worse is that he’s passing the ignorance around.
I’m not saying that he ought not go to a spiritual service. But he certainly is not “spiritually mature” nor is he right to be in a leadership position at all, for he is still out there preaching hate and divisiveness.
This man made millions, talking his crap while he went out doing what he told others not to do. He should feel like shit for seeking out women who are going through an awful life. He’s taking advantage of the downtrodden.
Ideally, as he should, since he claims to be so righteous, ought to be uplifting these women, and treating them with respect and love. Not abusing them more and horrifying them with his evil, evangelical, money grubbin’ presence.
He is the abomination, and others like him.
It’s people like him that makes others steer away from spirituality and the notion of a Creator.
This man is sickening.
How dare he be allowed on our t.v. sets.
