This whole month all I keep hearing about is how Christians are mad as hell that Christmas is under attack, how Jews are offended by "Merry Christmas", how Atheists are offended by everybody and how Kwanzaa… well what the hell is Kwanzaa anyways. Everyone just needs to calm down and realize that there are a lot of different cultures and religions in this country. Each of these has their own traditions and beliefs which, although I disagree with, I’m glad to have around this time of the year. I’m glad because they bring diversity in an otherwise cookie cutter world. I’m glad to see people smiling and greeting each other in stores and on the streets. Don’t agree, well imagine December without Christmas, Hanukah, and Kwanza (not that it maters). Imagine no Christmas trees in your town with all the lights and ornaments. Imagine not seeing those cool Jews with the squiggly things of hair on the sides of their head. Imagine having no Christmas parties at work. Still not seeing it?? Just take a look at this clip from Southpark.
Happy Chrismahanukwanzakah everyone!!

How dare you forget Solstice! (*grin!*)
Actually, Pagans are less offended than simply resigned to being forgotten in the holiday crush (nevermind that Pagan holy days are the source for nearly every holiday in the Christian calendar). Besides, it is still socially acceptable to beat the crap out of ‘em simply for *being* Pagan in several states. WWJD, indeed!

What the hell is the issue? It’s not like anyone really pays attention to the true meaning behind their religion’s holiday, (well Christian’s mainly).
Merry (belated) Chri…Commercialism, everyone!
