The AP is reporting that the entire woman’s lacrosse team from Catholic University got nasty with a stripper at a freshman initiation party. The teams coach, Kristine Manning, is working closely with the University’s president to assure such impure acts do not go unpunished. The official statement is as follows,
The president and I will meet with all the coaches at the university to discuss additional measures and policies that we can implement to ensure that in the future this kind of deplorable situation does not occur with any of the students at The Catholic University of America.
I’d like to see what policy can possibly diminish the sex drive of a college age girl. The very thought is rediculous. The reason this sort of stuff occurs at religious schools is because they (the school, parents, christians) try so hard to crush sexuality like it is some sort of immoral act that is only pure if done between a married man and woman. Well I got news for the religious folks out there. I went to a Catholic grade school for 8 years and the girls there were all about making out and getting crazy because they were constantly told not to. The worst thing anyone can do is tell someone not to do something without good reason. That does nothing but boost their interest and desire to do it!
I bet many of these girls came from uptight religious families who slapped them with 8pm curfews. I bet their parents told them that those "feelings" they were having towards boys were the work of the man downstairs. Well guess what dad, your little girl is away at school now and doing things to guys you wish would have happened to your bible carrying butt at school. And the best part of it all… it’s your fault!
I have one message to all those beautiful women at Catholic University and all the other religious freak schools… do whatever you want with whomever you please. Try it with a woman as well or a couple guys at the same time. Who cares! 20 years from now it won’t matter and you’ll have great memories. Enjoy your youth and never look back! Now’s the time to enjoy life and be your own person.
God bless you all, you make the world a better place!

Excuse me; I’ve got to go fill out this application form for CUA…
Seriously, I can’t believe anyone can be ’shocked’ by this kind of behavior. You are absolutely right; repression of this sort of behavior does lead to an increased desire to do it (sorry ‘bout the pun). Why is Christianity so anti-sex? I truly do not understand it. There are now perfectly safe, consequence-free methods to have sex.

I tried living like an animal (as you suggest).
I’ve also tried living like a human being(as God suggests).
Option 2 is like, better. or something.
P.S I am not christian
May 22nd, 2006 at 11:03 am
Where did I suggest living like an animal A.H?? And where is it written that God said live like a human being? What does that even mean? The way humans have acted/lived over the centuries has changed dramatically and constantly evolves.
You been talking to Mary Jane?

“Try it with a woman as well or a couple guys at the same time. Who cares! 20 years from now it won’t matter and you’ll have great memories”.
40 years from now you will be lying on you death bed and you will care very much. You will look back at the hedonist life and try to find one minute of it that actually mattered, and you will find none.
You might as well have been a cow shitting in a field.
I’m just trying to tell you that the truly intelligent atheist is a nihilist, and the best of the nihilists are
the dead ones.
May 22nd, 2006 at 2:21 pm
A. H. -
What the hell are you talking about? When I’m on my death bed I hope I can look back and say that I had a lot of fun, that I helped others have a lot of fun, and that I’ve loved and been loved.
What’s wrong with that?
And how does living by some arbitrary and archaic set of rules necessarily mean that your life mattered? There are plenty of inconsequential christian cultists who’ve passed through history, and there are some pretty significant atheists who’ve come and gone too. I see no correlation.
Claiming that atheists or hedonists don’t live lives that matter is very hypocritical coming from a christian cultist. Believing in some supernatural higher-power and an afterlife is the easiest way to rob your actual life in the here-and-now of any meaning. If this is the only life that’s we’re sure we have, then we’d better take advantage of it as much as possible. I see no reason for that not to include sex, in any or all of it’s wonderful forms.
May 22nd, 2006 at 3:04 pm
Yea, no doubt! A.H you got some serious issues my friend. Life is all about loving yourself and others around you. Ok, that sounds kind of dirty… but I mean love, not screwing :)
I believe you can do anything you damn well please so long as it doesn’t negatively impact anyone else. Whether its crazy sex, jumping out of a plane, or watching tv….who cares. There are so many things to do, places to see, and people to meet. I’m gonna do my best to try and see everything before I get planted in the ground… well actually incinerated.
I’ll be damned if I spend my life trying to please Jesus or God or whoever the hell. I’m on this planet to love, live, and let loose baby!!

I am a 19 year old girl , I am an atheist and I think that you, gasmonso, are completely asinine.
Aside from your “pro-sluts” attitude, (”Yeah, ladies! Have sex with 5 guys at once. And a horse. And underage girls. FEEL NO SHAME! If you don’t want to have sex with everything that moves, you’re REPRESSED!”) it was at a CATHOLIC University. There’s nothing remotely Catholic about having a stripper, male or female, on campus grounds. If you’re going to allow that, why not allow the students to smoke crack and worship Satan in their rooms?

catholic school girls gone wild
November 8th, 2006 at 6:10 pm
Hi, ok, i actually go to CUA, and know these girls. And actually, you guys are all wrong. My school is not a religious-freaks school. It’s much more liberal than you would think. The huge theater department, music school, and politics attracts more democrats than republicans. I know just about as many gay guys on campus as i do straight guys. Also, we have about 65% women. Its insane. Also, The majority of families people come from are not conservative devout catholic families, but rich care-free families that raised girls wanting to be paris hilton. And guess what, they act just like you wouold imagine. They are repressed, but only because they go to an academiclly chalenging school full of gay guys, so they are always stressed otu and horney. They get desperate enough to hire a stipper for fun. Trust me, us straight guys are in high demand here. Soooo, you are actually exactly wrong. It is the liberal mindset on campus that causes the girls to be repressed and turn into daddy’s wet dream, its not hte catholicism. Our theology department does have lots of religious people, but most of them are priests or monks studying cannon law, preistly theology, or in depth philosophy. And those guys are not the rebell-against my beliefs type of poeple, they are more like the worldly travelled, disciplined, top of their class in seminary, going to be bishops or published authors some day types.
Conclusion: you know nothing about my school, and just assume you do, while I know everything and go to school with a bunch of willing hot girls. Sucks to be you. The end.
January 30th, 2007 at 8:32 pm
Sucks when your age is placed at about the 14-year-old mark by how you type too…
April 13th, 2007 at 2:52 pm
Hey. I go to CUA too. It’s extremely conservative and most of the girls are pretty much sluts.
I said it, so what? I’m an atheist, I see no problem in the lacrosse team wanting to have a little bit of fun. Big f*cking deal.
April 28th, 2007 at 4:20 pm
i would say every human should at least the attribute of being human by control over its lust, it should’nt get animal by acting like it. we should at least look different then animails…
sex.. can’t it be satified with the life partner??? if so then y do u choose life partners??? and wt does love mean ??? love is that much batty that it even can’t see its way??? sorry to say but very disgusting when literally thinking about it as a human..
April 28th, 2007 at 6:38 pm
We’re fairly ingenious animals, but animals nevertheless. We have all the instincts that come with that, particularly the parasympathetic impulse to breed and the sympathetic impulse to either attack or flee from that which we don’t understand.
May 12th, 2007 at 5:31 pm
Unfortunately sin is a sin, and the punishment for sin is everlasting death. Does Heaven exist=100%, otherwise universe has an end. Educate yourself: Darwin wrote his book about ‘higher and lower races’ (read it in original) some people made it look like a science and others took it as a justification of animal-like behavior. Having extremities does not qualify being an animal. Adultery, killing, lying and so on, do however. Think hard before you do things. Animals think harder then many people do. May God bless you all. I love you all guys. Do not deny the future. Prepare yourself for it.
May 12th, 2007 at 7:14 pm
Do you actually think humans are not animals? We have instincts just as other animals, many of which your ignorant religions like to condemn because it doesnt fit into their own way of thinking.
“the punishment for sin is everlasting death”
everyone dies, even if your a christian, so doesnt really get what your trying to say. Do you have any evidence that there is a heaven? if you dont then its stupid to tell yourself and other that it exists.
As far as your information on darwin, its all been said before, next your gonna say he denounced his works before he died.
May 12th, 2007 at 7:53 pm
We do have instincts. And I do not ignore them . But I do not take it as a justification for fairly irresponsible use of my body, as others would try to promote. Why irresponsible? Address the medical facts, my friend. And we, people, also have art, poetry, philosophy. In your anger you obviously missed the point.
There are 2 deaths. One is physical, the one you talked about. The other one is the death of an immortal sole, the ‘everlasting death’(not momentary, physical, lost of all senses and unresponsiveness to stimuli). Do not ask me for a proof or an evidence. There’s no evidence good enough to satisfy a non-believer, but your own experience with what or Who you can not see yet. And here’s a problem. We do not see/know many things that exist. Some, we will discover. Some are too tough for our brain. If one did not have a proof that X-rays are harmful, it did not save them from the radiation, consequent intestinal tumor and death. Now we now it about X-ray. Give it a time. May be you’ll something you would never believe.
Well, you wrong in your last sentence too. I’m not going to say what you said. I said what I wanted to say. Darwinism is not a pure science, but an attempt to justify ‘higher and lower races’. And I did not mean to irritate you. I was like you. Your irritation came from another, well known to me source.
May 12th, 2007 at 8:58 pm
“But I do not take it as a justification for fairly irresponsible use of my body”
Thats all relative, what someone views as irresponsible is totally fine to others. Your god plays no part in it, until you try to cram YOUR ideas down OUR throats.
“And we, people, also have art, poetry, philosophy. In your anger you obviously missed the point.”
So that basically means we have highly developed brains(were not the only ones) and a lot of free time.
“There are 2 deaths. One is physical, the one you talked about. The other one is the death of an immortal sole”
Im guessing you mean “soul”, if your arguing its existence its a good idea to spell it right. What if we dont think there is a soul? how you YOU define a soul?
As far as race goes, Charles Darwin said in “Descent of Man” that black people(Africans) were closely related to white europeans except for only a few superficial differences appearance. Dont forget he was also an abolitionist, and helped change the common belief that whites were the chosen race of “god”.
May 13th, 2007 at 10:27 am
You realise the lacrosse team are now number 2 on the Google image search for “Catholic”? I guess there’s catholic sex and Catholic sex.
June 16th, 2007 at 12:04 am
Weather you agree with me or not there is logic in Christian thinking. Expesually on the issue of sex Ones who go through with the above behavior are usually lonly and lacking true love in their lives. This is not true love. True love occurs when someone lives for the other person and vice versa. The share in each others struggles. Christians stay away from the behavior outlined above because they have found what they believe to be true love. Which is found in their god. The behavior outlined above is a reflection of those whose spirits cry out for true love but can’t have it or are too afriad to get the real thing. It is not about being overly sheltered by it. In the behavior outlined above, where is the sharing of ones spiritual struggles with another? Where is the true love?? Well it isn’t there, I believe you can find that in God or you can find it in a human relationship which has been blessed by God himslef ~ which does happen mind you even to those who don’t belive in God.

I’ve read the gospels and the New Testament very thoroughly and I can’t recall Jesus saying very much about SEX. In fact, I’m certain Jesus said nothing about sex, besides saying that divorce was wrong if it impoverished the divorced wife and children.
Christianity’s sanctions against virtually every type of sexual pleasure (I don’t think Catholics are the most puritannical on this, Baptists and “Biblical” Protestants seem considerably more severe) did NOT come from the words of Jesus, but almost entirely from the writings of St Paul and Saint Augustine.
St Paul was a Pharisee, a Roman citizen, and a persecutor of early Christians until his “conversion,” which to me always seemed very partial. Augustine was, like Paul, clearly very ashamed of his sexuality, desires, longings, etc.
A person who is ashamed of qualities that are very natural and reasonable will also tend to be proud of qualities that are shameful, hateful, and silly. What grevious harm is there, really, to college kids hiring a stripper? (Aggressive distict attorneys notwithstanding.)
- a Jesuit-educated Catholic
June 17th, 2007 at 4:35 pm
Anybody else read Augustine’s Confessions? There certainly was quite a bit about Augustine’s appreciation of the female form in there. I mean, that dude really was into the ladies.

It is very easy to say God doesn’t exist when everything is ok. Something bad happens then, “God help me”. To the guy that said Jesus doesn’t talk about sex, every time “adultery” is mentioned, it doesn’t only mean infidelity, it also means casual sex. Why is sex condemned outside marriage, because God knew that we would become unfaithful, irresponsible and just plain animals. He made sex for procreation. That’s the main reason. Also in the act, the couple merge and become as one making the love for each other stronger. Every time we have casual sex (I’m not a saint…) Our capacity to truly love diminishes.
Instincts are guidelines. That is why we have intellect, so we can choose correctly. If by instinct I have sex with your mother irishthunder, does that make it ok? I’m just an animal.
If you know where to look there is a lot of evidence that God exist in the Catholic church. The church has documented miracles unexplained by science like host that transform in heart tissue, bleeding statues, Turin’s mantle, body of Saints that doesn’t corrupt. Look it up. If God isn’t doing this, who or what is? A magician?
August 9th, 2007 at 3:58 am
And Gasmonso, where have God said how to live? It’s called the Old Testament. Lets start with the Ten Commandments. Look it up.
August 9th, 2007 at 6:10 am
Ten commandments directed to jewish people or the six jesus directed to christians?
August 11th, 2007 at 12:57 am
Joshua… You forget that I was raised a Catholic and have studied the 10 commandments thoroughly. But you need to show me that they were given to us from God.
August 11th, 2007 at 2:44 am
I was raised in a very conservative, Catholic home. I went to Catholic school for 4 years before switched over to public because all of the Catholic schools in Michigan are going to hell because of most of our priests. I was constantly pressured to be like my parents, and love God, blah-blah-blah. I wasn’t aloud to make my own mistakes, because what would the people at Church say? Now, I am an Atheist. I guess my parents pushed me, and I pushed God away. But, so these girls made a mistake, one mistake. A mistake they may not even believe to be a mistake. Catholics believe in forgiving, and loving everyone, right? Well, from my own personal experience, looking like a “goth” and going to church after dying my hair black, they don’t forgive. They won’t love you for just being you, you look different, so they despise you, and frown upon you for it. They’re not who they say they are. They don’t love their neighbors, they gossip about them. And I went to three churches, so it’s not just at my one church. These girls had fun. It’s done, and over. All of these parents and teachers should pull the sticks out of their asses and get over it. Most people spend too much time preparing for their “afterlife” instead of living this life. The one that they’re alive for.
Yeah. Whatever.

“Why is sex condemned outside marriage, because God knew that we would become unfaithful, irresponsible and just plain animals. He made sex for procreation.”
Procreation is better served by not requiring marriage before sex. More sex with different partners means more babies.

Hey, i think we hit a Godwin…
anyway, Universities all have those groups of people where, with 50 people, they have all had sex with each other. It’s not specific to Christian or any other university.

Purity, in and of itself, has developed from teachings in the bible. By today’s moral standards, most of these teachings have been forgotten. However, many devout christians of all denominations find that purity is a strong form of prayer. They keep themselves pure because they love God and are willing to take on the cross of being chaste so they can be living examples of God’s love. In this way, their physical body is a true temple of devotion. Not only to God, but to their husband or wife as well.
September 11th, 2007 at 9:25 am
Sorry, Bigred, but Zoroaster beat the Bible to it by hundreds of years. His writings are dated to around 1500 BCE, which is solidly prior to the writing of any books of the Old Testament. He taught is followers “to follow the path of righteousness (”Asha”) or purity in thought, word and deed will lead to happiness (”ushta”) for both ourselves and others.” So purity was not developed solely from the teachings in the Bible.
He also beat the Jews to the concepts of monotheism, dualistic morality (Heaven and Hell), and Judgment Day. In fact, Judaism, and thus Christianity and Islam, were likely derived, or at least heavily borrowed from Zoroastrianism. Thus even the purity teaching in the Bible were not original. Finally, I am certain that the writings of Zoroaster were not entirely original either and likely derived from even earlier, pre-history oral traditions.

ok Personally i think sex is awesome and everybody should do it because 1 it feels good to both you and your partner as long as you both have an orgasm that is, and 2 without sex this world would have nobody left to take care of it or inhabit the planet or figure out the infinite galaxy, etc. Now if ya’ll got a problem with that i don’t really care becuase this is a free country. and the very first amendment says FREEDOM OF SPEECH. I am Catholic and spent some years in parochial school. I also went to Notre Dame. There is no doubt that there is a faction of the Catholic students (both male and female) who want to rebel against the strict environment. I know the “forbidden fruit” pattern does exist. And some find it too tempting. Katie Holmes is probably the best example. She ran off with a Scientologist. On the male side, JFK Jr. was alleged to have had a bisexual encounter. Other examples can be found. However, that is not a uniform “all-encompassing” pattern. Some people leave the Catholic Church and rebel. Others actually convert to Catholicism. The most recent example is Tony Blair, the former leader of Great Britain.
So Catholic women are alleged to have “gone wild” at Catholic University. But down here in the south, I see the other extreme. I actually get more interest from Southern Baptist females rather than Catholic females. These Protestant women are rebelling against their religion by wanting a Catholic guy like me. They are the analogy of “Katie Holmes” on the Baptist side. Sometimes, the forbidden fruit syndrome does work. But it can’t be assumed to be 100%. After Nicole Kidman divorced Tom Cruise, she had it annulled and married another Catholic. As for the lack of interest from Catholic women in the southern USA, it contrasts with Notre Dame in Indiana. Over there, many devout Catholic women actually want to stay in the Church and prefer Catholic men (as opposed to a Scientologist). I miss my undergraduate campus.
I have Notre Dame friends who went to graduate school at Catholic U. They are devout Catholics and don’t rebel against it. Both extremes of rebellion or devotion do exist. The situation is not just one-sided. So some Catholic girls do “go wild.” See them on Facebook. But that doesn’t include everyone.

There is no repression at CUA. I go there and have just as much fun as the next guy. This happens at every university you people need to stop preaching!
These girls were just dumb enough to post these hazing pics online.
get over it.

They would be dumb enough to post them online, no one ever claimed that CUA had high standards for admission!

What do I have to say about this “news” about Catholic schoolgirls hiring a stripper? I like strawberry ice cream shakes. Chocolate is too heavy and lacks the dimension that a fruit based ice cream has. Vanilla is nice, but like chocolate it makes a heavy shake.

There`s nothing wrong with hiruing a striper. The problem with Catholics there hypercrits.Priests are doing worse stuff to children than what these people done.We all do dumb stuff, but dont be hypercrits.Beside`s i love the picture`s left posted on-line.Great shots
