With the subject of word meanings on hand, I'd like for anyone who cares to get a nice little surprise to check out my MySpace page and read the Faith Proof. One would be surprised to find out what faith REALLY is. My profile name on there is Supernaut says "religiousfreaks.com"

"Americans just aren’t gullible enough to believe that they came from a fish."

I love how Americans refer to Americans and not People. Do Americans think that they're the only true people? Ha, hahaha, ha.

One of the things that drove me away from Christianity is when I voluntarily attended a Creationism seminar that my church was holding. I heard the most bizarre and far-fetched ideas and theories I had ever heard at the time or since then. I've seen more evidence to support the theory of UFOs and ghosts.

There always seems to be a Racist, Sexist, evolution religious freak out there somewhere. Looks like I just found one of there websites. Evolution is the biggest lie of the century. Makes you wonder why the first two major people to promote it where Karl Marx and Adolph Hitler. Atheist scientists are the only one that say they have facts, ever think they are a bit biased and might lean towards their own personal interests. Here recently more and more scientists are scrapping evolution as a real theory, maybe its time you catch up on the news. In fact you might want to get a life or a job or something worth your time, and quit bashing what you dont understand.

I have also heard the argument "Show me where the bible is wrong" to which I normally reply "Prove to me that the bible is true" and people that doesn't mean "Because it says it is.

Godwin's law again...
Also, It's amazing how you can take so many words to atribute so little...

""Through the belief in “evolution” and the classification of my parents and grandparents as “racially inferior” ""

So, you're basically saying this: "Evolution theory is wrong because it doesn't fit in with how I think the world should work" Overal, if a species is to evolve, you are "genetically superior" to your grandparent, but you seem to think that those posters show one generation after the other?

I also love your non-argument that genetics was invented by a christian. And why do you accept all the other scientific theories, but not evolution? some quantum mechanical issues are far more 'blasphemous' then evolution, but it's a bit more complicated then evolution (which is obviously beyond your grasp as well)

ps. if having a BS is an argument; I have a master's degree, You can all trust me........ :S

@jake rosen

what a shameless attempt to trivialize the circumstances that led to development of the third reich in order to promote your own religious dogma... maybe you should brush up on some history.

I have often told my children that the people who created the posters depicting the evolutionary climb from anthropoid to homosapiens and the 3D exhibits that are used to illustrate the theory of evolution were done by artists like their father. Museum exhibits can be quite convincing. Hence your apparent fear of one about creation and intelligent design.
Modern Science has come about because of the labors of curious people of faith like Mendel, the father of genetics, who believed "God created the heavens and the earth". Through belief in one creator or designer they deduced a set of natural laws that were observable and consistent.
Through the belief in "evolution" and the classification of my parents and grandparents as "racially inferior", this strange science laid the underpinnings of the science of eugenics, an attempt to give evolution a helping hand by sterilizing or exterminating inferior stock. When man is not believed to be created "in God's image", society "devolves" very quickly- as was the case in Hitler's Germany.

Hey Scott, how about the great flood that Noah was involved in? No evidence there. They dated some pieces of wood from the top of Mt Ararat but it was several thousand years too young to have been from the supposed ark.
How Jesus supposed miracles? Written by people who existed many years after he may have existed. No proof their just fairy tales. If he was so powerful why didn't he cure cancer instead of wasting his power on party tricks.
How about rising from the dead? Seen it done? You have to prove it happened. Non believers don't have to prove a fantasy false. Otherwise we'd have to prove that pixies don't live at the end of the garden. You claim it happened, show us, should be easy if it did occur.
