Hi everyone, sorry for the lack of updates, but I decided to take a little trip to Napa Valley for some wine tasting :) I have a huge backlog of comments to cach up on and emails to reply to. I’ll try to tackle that today, so hang in there if I haven’t replied.
As for my trip… it was great! My wife and I flew to Sacramento and spent a day hanging out and seeing the sites. The next day we picked up some friends and headed out to Napa where we stayed for 4 days. If you haven’t been to Napa or Sonoma, you should go some day. The weather is beautiful and the scenery is spectacular.
We visited several wineries and one of my favorites was The Rubicon Estate which is owned by Francis Ford Coppola… yes that’s the guy who produced such classics as the Godfather and Apocalypse Now. And if you’ve seen Apocalypse Now, you know about the surfing scene which is one of my favorites. The actual surfboard that Kilgore used is in the winery among lots of other memorabilia. Good stuff indeed.
I could go on and on, but I have lots of work to catch up on! Let me know if I missed any good news over the last week because I haven’t even seen a tv or newspaper… and that’s kind of refreshing actually ;)

when i was a long haul trucker hauling frieght from coast to coast i been up in Napa valley to load up wine to take back to the east coast, loved that area all thru there from Petaluma all the way up to Ukiah (wine country) some of the most beautiful country in all of the USA, i am glad you had a good time :)

Good to have ya back man. Hope you enjoyed the wine out there. I’d love to be able to pack me and my girlfriend up for a week and fly out to that area. Maybe on next year’s personal days.
