forgot to say happy ramadan. Also, I wondered if the “no-sex” thing only counted when the sun is up.
and also, do the elderly, infirm and very young have to participate? If not, who decides that?

Maybe it’s like Jehova’s witnesses, you yourself declare yourself pure or not.
i.e.: In JW, the communion (with unlevered bread) is not for everyone, but only those who think they deserve it. And since te JW are a bunch of facade hypocrites, there are only like 1 or 2 per congregations who take it and they are old.

No elder people and young people are not obliged to fast. you decide for yourself if you’re strong enough to do it or not, but hey god knows if you are or not, so no lying allowed here.
I really hope god does “uncover my blindness” as i need my eyes for the exams
