If the country producing the oil wants to charge you lot for it, you will simply pay: the assumption that the US can get around any problem that threatens it (such as gasolene prices being about 1/3 of the UK price) by invading countries willy-nilly is the attitude that will get you all nuked some day.

I agree with some of what you say. I’d prefer no nukes for Iran, I’m not a fan of Isreal having them either. I’d be much happier if the US kept the majority of our money here.
