I don’t think that is going to happen. It’s plausiable, but highly unlikley, as people do cross the boundaries in western life all the time. Mabey in a very segregated place, but I don’t see the coralation between being poor and ugly. It also reminds me a bit of brave new world.

Its always funny when fundies throw around the phrase “fairy tales” in relation to anything scientific or outside their realm of understanding. What about people who believe in a different god? are they below you for some reason?

Well, so many intersecting points of controversy here ,its hard to know just where to jump in.

First of all the advance of technology doesnt necessarily equate with the dumbing down of the human gene pool. My wife is very bright, w whiz at mathematics yet CANT PUSH THE RIGHT BUTTONS ON THE TV TWICE IN SUCCESSION”

And just as an aside , she did not take well to the comments on this thread relating to dummies just having to push buttons” If that commentator will take a moment to supply a home address, he/she will be hearing from my wife’s lawyer. ( we have separate lawyers, it was just something we couldnt come to agreement on}.

Secondly, those of you kind enough to have ingested my previous posts on the attempt to assassinate Hitler in July of 1944, will recall my mention of a fanatical Nazi jurist, and here I am stretching the term, named Kreisler who presided over the “star chamber” trials of the collaboraters.

Well, this “jurist” I have it on good authority’ was born and raised in the 19th century Bavarian equivalent of a trailer camp!

Thirdly, if memory serves me, in that Spielberg movie about dinosaurs being bred on a remote island which was then made into an unsuccesful theme park, one of the lead characters, a scientist, played by that actor Jeff somebody, spoke to a theory that basically amounted to a random unaccountable outcome to a series of totally rational and supposedly predictable events.

So with this line of thought who can say that the human race will evolve into people who live in condos vs people who live in trailer parks???

I’m really enjoying to see the evolutionist fighting each other, your theory want to turn you again to Apes or may rats this time, heheheheheheh, you are going to be rats.

I think most likely people who believe in god will be the highes rank, and people who believe in fairy tales(evolution) will be this kind of lower rank in society.

Nothing like that is going to happen, so you don’t have to worry, god create human-being the same and they are going to stay the same.

But any way if you want to be Apes you could be.

The man’s a quack with no scientific credentials and not a shred worth of honest biological evidence or theory to back him up.

This is the same damn bullshit that people spewed during social darwinism movements and the golden age of eugenics programs.

This guy’s theory should have been thrown in the dumpster where it belongs. Whatever reporter thought this was newsworthy oughta be punished by having live with somebody who defies this moronic theory.

hmm… smart and beautiful, dumb and f-ugly is the theory…

I’ve got it! Make this guy and the reporter live with paris hilton for a year. There won’t be any crack pot theories about rich smart people being some knew genetic caste after that!

I think that even if it did have any viability, Outsider’s point on the requirement of a continued stability in our culture rips it apart. He’s right…when was the last time the lower class remained the lower class for 100,000 years?

Hrm, Sorry, I guess I wasn’t being precise. I suppose I mean some sort of foward-thinking process. So there is no “desired” outcome in evolution. There is no “perfectly” evolved entity. Species evolve to match their environment, not because there is some active process to match some given environment but simply because the ones that didn’t arbitrarily gain adaptive mutations died out.

What for a definition of “process” are you using? Usually, it means something like “change over time” - and evolution is exactly that. The definition does not include some entity directing the process.

This theory shows a distinct misunderstanding of evolution. Evolution is not some continual process. In fact it isn’t a ‘process’ at all.

That’s the problem with human thought it puts purpose in front of events (this happens so that this will happen…) In reality events happen because of events of the past. Until you really understand evolution with that you’ve got no idea what’s going on.
