It’s another example of people looking stupid by trying to hard to not look stupid… and it makes me wonder, what was the real point? Is it really a stupid muslim group trying to make every muslim look sober, or is it a radicalist muslim group sowing dissention between muslims and nonmuslims by provoking this kind of discussion about the stupidity of muslims? (Think about it: how better to get muslim people hating the rest of the world than to get the rest of the world to laugh at them?)

There’s a fable that goes like this… A young boy walks to school every day, and every day a group of older boys offers him the choice of a nickle or a dime. Every day, he chooses the nickle “because it’s bigger”. One day, his best friend is walking to school with him when this happens. After the group of bigger boys leaves, she says to him, “You know a dime is worth more than a nickle, right?”

He says to her, “Yeah, but if I took the dime they’d stop doing it.”

Point is, just because someone appears to be stupid does not mean that they _are_ stupid, just that they appear to be.

(I’m assuming that it thus wasn’t coming up for some others as well.)

I have noticed a significant drop in traffic the last fews days though… wonder if these posts have anything to do with it :(
