You know, my mind plays tricks on me. When I see the term "creation science" my mind sees the word science and applys a whole new meaning to the word. Much like when you see the word desert and it can mean multiple unrelated things depending on context. In fact, when I see "creation science" my mind sees it as "creation mythology". The mind is a strange thing isn't it?

Snurp, there are some things in the Bible, like the passage you quote above, that seem entirely edited in by the Holy Roman Empire. I can't imagine that they would allow their state religion to have a book which says, "Yeah don't pay your taxes, especially not to the Romans." And I also can't imagine that a Jewish counter-culturalist like Jesus Christ would think otherwise during those times.

The other part that stands out to me is that whole bit about the Romans being all, "Well we weren't going to *actually* crucify you, because we're totally cool, but the Jews are all about you dying horribly now, so grab some wood."

But no scripturist could possibly put the "holy words" into an historical context... They just can't fit it into their heads.

Okay, correction, its a "Walk through the Bible" museum not a Creation science museum. Oh well. Hey who wants to come on over and walk through the bible? "Worship or die: The history of Judeo-christian Tolerance" section here we come!

I believe this is called karma :)

Seriously, I would love to sit through one of his speeches, he made me laugh a lot harder then most comedians, plus the added bonus for amuzing discussion afterwards.

Humanisitic Jones, I planned to go to the Creation Science Museum to ask questions regarding the fact that their science doesn't apply to other sciences.

I think one of these creation museums exists near where I live. I'll have to organize a nice little trip out there one day to see all the tax evasion... I mean new ways of looking at the facts.
