it's heartbreaking that people are still attached with this exorcism or possesed by evils. we don't know what's the real story behind it. all we are aware of the death of sister Maricica ... if we look through scientific way, manifested it is the disease so called schizophrenic but if we look this in a religious way than what happened is not right. religious fundamentalist shouldn't be act that way because it disgraces the god itself and the followers.everything is transitional and we all have to die one day. we can not escape from samsara and what is happening around us is all an illusion. it's beyond ones knowledge so there may arise a controversial. but this is my personal request that don't judge all the priest for what father Daniel Petru Corogeanu has done....

No, they deserve to have their religion taken away from being legally practiced in the country of offense. Furthermore, the more crazy ass shit that get's attributed to your cult, the more laws there should be against it all. Maybe that'll teach the leaders of religion some fucking global responsability.

indeed, "funny" might not be the best word here...
I wish they used the "eye for an eye" method there.

Naery: "You know what’s the funniest in all this?"

Nothing?

In all seriousness, given the subject, I think I would have used the phrase "You know what is ironic about this story?" instead. Otherwise, I agree with your post. :)

You know what's the funniest in all this?

This priest and those nuns that are now in prison are probably still persuaded to have done the right thing and that it's the demon's fault the girl is dead and that this prison and mortal's judgment are only some sort of chalenge pressed upon them by god to test them.

So, all in all, that priest guy will probably fell even more holy ahnd deserving of heaven for that 'awful' prison thing he stoicaly endured on behalf of doing the right thing :)

O_o!

Religion explains our inner "spiritual" experiences in the same way that apollo's chariot explains daylight.

It is a primitive, outdated and wildly inaccurate model of complex *physical* phenomena.

And this is where it leaves you.

Crucified for a mental disorder. It is heartbreaking to hear and really burns me up that the murderers only have to deal with prison and not the torturous hell they put her through. Crucification was one of the most cruel methods of punishment in the Roman repertoire. First there is the agony of hanging on the cross, the ropes or chains cutting into you. Then you begin to tire and let yourself drop, only to discover it makes breathing hard. It becomes a slow struggle between your aching, tired muscles screaming for rest and your lungs screaming for air. Eventually exhaustion overtakes you and your final moments are spent gasping for air and longing for the sweet reprieve of death. Finally you are suffocated by the weight of your own body and die.

No matter what hell this priest endures in prison, it will not compare to the suffering he forced on a poor, sick woman who turned to God for help with her disease when she should have turned to medicine.

They were jailed? But I thought if you're religious you can do whatever crazy stuff you want... Well I guess people _are_ starting to think for themselves.
