Question 1

Question: What is the history behind your nickname! –Agnöstic

Answer: That’s a good question :) This nickname was born in the fall of 1996. I had just come back home to start college after serving 4 years in the Marine Corps. As with all schools now, every student receives an email address. Mine was based off my last name and the password was randomly generated by the system. That password was "gasmonso". I found it quite amusing because it was actually pronounceable and unique. I never thought much of it, but it was always in the back of my mind. A few years ago, a friend told me that I should use gasmonso as my nick and that was that :)

I only ask slightly in jest, but is gasmonso still your password?

Also, how does one bask in your reflected glory and earn a link on your site?

Hi Hoodlum, I haven’t used that as a password for a long time. It’s very insecure and prone to hacking. I always use a alphanumeric password with both upper and lower case characters.

As for getting a link on my site, I have used text-link-ads.com for a few months to earn a few extra bucks. The going rate is $45/month.

What site do you want a link to?

    gasmonso

And yet in all this time, apparently nobody has ever thought to shorten it to “gassy”.

    I’m stunned.
