Question 8

Question: Am I mistaken that if Israel (the land) were to be re-distributed or totally internationalized that the Jews would still be treated and looked upon with the same contempt throughout the region? To re-state that, is it really more of a hatred of Israel (the people), Israel (the land that’s being occupied), or just a combination of both?  –Josh

Answer: The problem in Israel has become more and more religious because the conservative wings have the greatest say in that conflict. Arabs find Israelis intolerable. They (Arabs) view Israel as the price that they have to pay for Christian sins in WW2 and I understand that point of view. Israel was created by the victors of WW2 with the cooperation of the Saudis, on Palestinian land. That’s where the problem started. The Zionist movement did a great job for the Israelis, and what started as a struggle for a homeland now is a battle between religio-political conservatives. So yes, you are right, today it is a combination of the two. However I am a firm believer in that this hate on both sides can be overcome through an agreement that is acceptable to both. Maybe neither side will be 100% happy, but once they have a settlement they’ll learn to live with each other.  –Muhammed

  1. Agony says:

    I second that.

I live here in israel, and i’m an arab(though i’m an Atheist, not a moslem)

The problem isn’t only the islamic conservatives, the jewish conservatives have more power in this country and they use what they can of it to rid the “holy land” of none believers(every none jew in this world.)

The only difference is, Islamic conservatives are beloved(by the people), Jewish conservatives are not. israel was declared jewish in both nationality and religion the day if was founded, so you have to take the religious guys’ view into account.

  4. Unquestionably believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the net the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider worries that they just don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
