Here is a permanent home for the 12 Muhammed caricatures that were printed in the Danish newspaper Jyllands Posten. If you don’t have a sense of humor then leave. They are just cartoons and nothing more. Comments will be enabled on here so please feel free to leave them. Keep it civil and please don’t storm my website with RPGs and machine guns. Oh, flag burning is unacceptable aswell. But feel free to boycot my site as that is a peaceful means of protest.

Please read this…..Secretary-General for Saudi Supreme Association for Tourism prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz has condemned Saudi government plan to demolish Islamic signs and buildings in the holy cities of Medina and Makkah.
Talking to London-based Asharq Al-Awsat Arabic language newspaper on Sunday September 4, Abdulaziz stressed that powers that be have no legal authority to touch or demolish historical sites.
The daily writes that operations of demolition of important signs in the holy city of Medinah are neither the first nor would be the last, as earlier seven mosques including Bani Qoreyza Mosque were razed to ground despite their religious, historic and cultural importance as well as their status in the period of Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure progeny).
Four years back, controversy was caused regarding demolition of Mosque of Al-Imam Ali Al-Aridhi, grandson of Al-mam Ali bin Abi Taleb (peace be upon him), in the holy city of Medinah because of its establishment on his grave.
Asharq Al-Awsat went on saying that different organizations for protection of archeological sites with agency of signs and museums on top of the list stood to stop destruction of Islamic, historical and cultural signs in the holy city of Medina, but they failed.
A number of care-takers for the signs, according to the newspaper, including Dr Abdullah Nasif, member Shura Council Dr Ayedh Ar-Radadi and Dr Anvar Ashqy, criticized steps to demolish these signs and called to protect the remaining Islamic sites and signs.
According to reports some of Holy Makkah and Medina’s most historic sites including a home of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his pure progeny), are under threat from Saudi real estate developers.
Meanwhile, surprise has been expressed at the lack of reaction in the Muslim world at the impending demolition of the house of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure progeny) by the Saudi authorities.
Renowned thinker Dr Anvar Ashqy said that not more than 10 percent Islamic historic signs of that which were present before expansion of Al-Haram An-Nabavi Ash-Sharif are left in the holy city of Medinah.
An op-ed article in Toronto Star, Canada’s widely-circulated daily, by Tarek Fatah, a Pakistani-Canadian Muslim activist and broadcaster, finds it incomprehensible that while the demolition of the Babri mosque by Hindu zealots at Ayodhya continues to remain an emotive issue with Muslims, what the Saudi authorities plan to do has evoked no protest at all.
Fatah writes, “What makes this demolition worse is the fact that the home of the Prophet is to make way for a parking lot, two 50-storey hotel towers and seven 35-storey apartment blocks; a project known as the Jabal Omar Scheme, all within a stone’s throw of the Grand Mosque. Yet despite this outrage, not a single Muslim country, no ayatollah, no mufti, no king, not even a Muslim Canadian imam has dared utter a word in protest. Such is the power of Saudi influence on the Muslim narrative.”
The writer wonders if the lack of a response is because Muslims have become so overwhelmed by the power of the Saudi riyal currency that we have lost all courage and self-respect? Or is it because they feel a need to cover up Muslim-on-Muslim violence, Muslim-on-Muslim terror or Muslim-on-Muslim oppression?
According to Fatah the cultural massacre of Islamic heritage sites is not a new phenomenon. It is said that in the last two decades, 95 per cent of Makkah’s 1,000-year-old buildings have been demolished. In the early 1920s, the Saudi rulers Aal-e-Sa’ud bulldozed and leveled a graveyard in Medina – Cemetery of Al-Baqee - that housed the shrines of the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his pure progeny)’s daughter Fatimah Az-Zahraa (peace be upon her), his grandsons Imam Hasan Al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him), Imam Zein-ol Abideen (peace be upon him), Imam Baqer (peace be upon him), Imam Jafar As-Sadeq (peace be upon him), and his companions. A cemetery – Jannatul Moalla – in the holy city of Makkah was also demolished by the Saudis. This cemetery included holy shrines of holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure progeny)’s wife Sayyedah Khadija Al-Kobra (peace be upon her), his grandfather and uncle Abdul-Mottaleb and Abu Taleb (peace be upon them).
The house where holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure progeny) ‘s beloved daughter Sayyedah Fatimah Az-Zahraa (peace be upon her) was born as well as house of his wife Sayyedah Khadija (peace be upon her) were demolished in pretext of expansion project.
Fatah said, “Today, the religious zealots in Saudi Arabia are not alone. Commercial developers have joined hands with them and are making hundreds of millions in profits as they build ugly, but lucrative high-rises that are shadowing the Grand Mosque know as the Kaaba. Today Saudi petrodollars have the ability to silence even its most vocal critics, but when all is said and done, history will render a harsh judgment on those who try to wipe out its footprints and steal the heritage of all humanity.” HYPOCRICY…..

True about the terorists.
I’m in France, but I felt hurt and atact in 9/11 and after that in Spain. As a human I felt atact and I suffer to, because that can happend anywhere in the world, not just in America and is not right. As a human I feel sorry for the killings in America but also in Israel and Turky and everywhere in the world where peopels are killed for religion! You should be sorry to for those who died there because they are humans like you, regardless in what they belive.
Someone may belive in what he want, or not belive in anything, is their right!

I’m an Atheist born in Turkey (a laic country with 90% muslim population).
For me, all religions started with a philosophical or political base. As all religions or ideologies were born in certain historical and social conditions, there become some changes on them. Christianism was born as a humanistic philosophy, but by the changes made by disciples or religious institutions (you can see it from the contradictions in New Testament) (some of these changes made because of personal hatred and some of them made becuse of political benefits), Christians burned lots of people for witchcraft or sentenced Galileo, etc. After Reneissance, French Revolution and especially Industrial Revolution Christianity had lots of revolutions, because the rules were not fit the recent conditions. There were lots of contradictions between Science and New Testament (from the creation of the world to creation of human kind). So as conditions changed Christianity has changed and became more tolerant. But not the Christians… Because mankind is such a creature that can create reasons for violence very easily. Like the violence of US Army on American Indians, the politics of Nazis in 2nd World War, USA’s politics about Communism after 2nd World War, Bosnian Genocide applied by Serbians, etc.
On the other hand Islam started as a political religion. As all political based ideas, it had got philosophy, but also enemies. The Holy Koran is not a pure humanistic religious book. There are lots of verses that explains what violence must be applied in some conditions. (for example: Maide 33 says “Kill the person who insults Mohammed or Allah (God) or the person who makes oppression on mankind in the world.”) But also there are lots of humanistic rules in Koran (for example: all the verses start with “in the name of Allah the merciful” or it says “don’t sleep with a full stomach if your neighbor is hungry”). After Christians became more powerful economically, muslims retired into themselves and became more conservative. And there founded lots of Islamic countries that apply the rules very harshly. But the Islamic terrorism is not a self-developed event. It’s developed by USA in Middle East against USSR. And now, there are Islamic governments in some countries that were founded by modern leaders (for example in 1980 there occured a military coup, supported by USA against Communism, in Turkey. After the military coup a liberal Islamic government came. And now the government in Turkey is a fundementalist liberal (can you see the contradiction?) political party in Turkey. So the one who is responsible for the Islamic terrorism is USA (it looks like a Frankenstein story, yeah?).
In Islam making a portrayal of Muhammed is a sin. But being a Christian is also a sin. The problem is not making the portrayal of Muhammed. The problem is making the criticism of actual Islamic politics over Muhammed. Because it seems like an insult not critics. But also there are lots of Muslims and Atheist people that were born in an Islamic country and all didn’t like the way that critics had taken place. (And also there are other cartoons i saw. In one of them there is a pig and on that pig was written Mohammad) But also none of them killed nobody.
USA and Israel opened a war against Islamic Countries to take the power over the area. This is the source of all the wars, terrorism, etc. in this area.
Don’t forget, some plays it big and you are the grass under the feet of elephants. We, ordinary people, have no chance but be tolerant. Don’t be fooled by provocations coming from both sides. Violence is not the solution of violence and Fundamentalism or racism is not a solution for itself.

Any good muslim should be so damn angry about their own people and not at us westerners, i sure as hell am unhappy about bush beeing in Iraq. Religon doesn’t seem to be working. In all religons there are people who kill and people who love unconditionally, sometimes even both.
So, I ask, what is the point of religon if no one really adheres to it anyway?
How did different religons even come about if there is only one God??? It seems to me that the fact that there are so many different religons (which tend to have the same God and even teachings mind you) is proof that no one is certain on who\what\how God is. Just a general theory which normally postulates that God is good and wants you to do good.
So why can’t we just accept that we can’t be 100% sure that God exists (this, in my opinon, can only be proven scientifically, the only rational means we have to ascertain something) and, since we all belive that God “told us to be good” be GOOD!
Now …what is Good???

They mine as well be athiests……..All the love, peace and harmony in the world is not going to get you to heaven…….It is the belief in God and His Sone, the ONLY man sent from the divine to perform miracles, teach, heal and save. Muhammed did none of this. NO miracles, no healing, no life after death, he is still in his grave today! How can one possibly put faith in a man who CLAIMS to have gotten divine scripture from God, but yet God didn’t see him fit to perform miracles? I laugh!!! Where does it say that anyone ever “witness” any “revelation” that this man received? NO WHERE.
